According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, more than 1.6 million specialty license plates were on Florida roads in 2020. The top three include Endless Summer, University of Florida and Helping Sea Turtles Survive.
There are more than 100 plates to choose from, and for an extra $25 you can support your alma mater, sports team, cause or campaign, with those dollars going directly to the organization.
But wait, there’s more! Three others have just met the 3,000 plus pre-sale threshold to qualify: Coastal Conservation Association Florida’s “Conserve Florida’s Fisheries,” Walt Disney World and the Blue Angels.
